Rhinoplasty, in practical terms.
Here's the part a lot of pages skip: rhinoplasty asks for patience. The surgery takes a couple of hours under anesthesia, and you'll wear a small splint for about a week. The bruising fades quickly, but your nose keeps quietly refining for up to a year as the last swelling leaves the tip. The nose you see at six weeks is a great preview, not the final cut, and that's completely normal. Once it settles, it's yours for life, aging gently along with the rest of your face.
