What is Afters?
Afters helps you research cosmetic practices through results published or supplied by the named practice, pricing context, and private video-consultation requests. Publication is not independent verification of image history or the treating clinician, so confirm case details with the practice before deciding.
Is Afters free to use as a patient?
Yes — all of it. Browsing surgeons, saving favorites to your boards, and requesting virtual consultations from participating practices costs patients nothing. The only thing you ever pay for is the procedure itself, charged directly by the practice you choose.
How are practices verified?
A verification checkmark means Afters reviewed the practice account and its connection to the listing. It is not a substitute for checking a clinician’s current license, board certification, disciplinary history, or hospital privileges with the relevant authoritative source.
Are the before & after photos real?
Results are published or supplied by the practice named on the profile. Practices are responsible for accurate attribution and permission to publish. Afters does not independently inspect the consent record, image history, treating clinician, or clinical outcome for every result, so ask the practice about any result you are considering.
How are the prices on Afters set?
Price ranges on procedure and city pages are aggregated from participating practices in that market. Honest caveat: the exact price you pay depends on case complexity, the surgeon’s experience, and the facility — that’s just how surgical pricing works. Your virtual consultation request returns a personalized quote with the real number.
How do virtual consultations work?
You send your photos and goals; the practice reviews them and replies with a personalized video walk-through, a recommended approach, and pricing. Then you can compare quotes from multiple surgeons before deciding who to see in person — all before setting foot in an office.
How do I claim my practice as a surgeon or owner?
Visit our For Practices page to learn how Afters works for cosmetic surgery clinics, med spas, and dental practices, or start the signup flow directly. Claiming is free, and the complete accepted-quote fee schedule is published before you join.
How do I report inaccurate information or a content problem?
Email support@realafters.com with the URL and a brief description of the issue. A real person reviews every report within two business days.
How do I delete my account or my data?
Email support@realafters.com from the address associated with your account. We honor account and data deletion requests within 30 days, as required by applicable privacy law.
