Botox

At what age should I start getting Botox?

I'm 28 and starting to see fine lines when I raise my eyebrows. Is it too early for Botox?

There's no "right" age to start Botox—it depends on when you begin noticing lines and your prevention goals. Here's my perspective: "Preventive Botox" (starting in your mid-20s to early 30s) can prevent deep wrinkles from forming by training muscles not to make those repetitive expressions. If you're already seeing lines at rest (not just when you move your face), treatment now will soften them and prevent deepening. Starting at 28 with early dynamic lines is perfectly reasonable. Some patients start in their early 20s, others not until their 40s—both are fine. The goal is natural results that preserve expression, whether you're 28 or 48.
