Hyaluronic acid lip fillers typically last 6-12 months, depending on the product used and your individual metabolism. Thinner fillers may dissolve faster (around 6 months), while thicker formulations can last up to a year. The lips are a high-movement area, so filler tends to break down faster here than in other areas of the face. Many patients come in for a touch-up around the 6-9 month mark to maintain their look.
