Rhinoplasty

Can you fix a bad nose job?

I had rhinoplasty 2 years ago and I'm not happy with the results. The tip is too pinched and I have trouble breathing.

Yes, revision rhinoplasty can address both cosmetic and functional issues from a previous surgery. However, it's more complex than primary rhinoplasty because the surgeon is working with altered anatomy, scar tissue, and potentially weakened cartilage. For a pinched tip with breathing issues, cartilage grafting (often from the septum, ear, or rib) may be needed to rebuild structural support. I recommend waiting at least 12-18 months after your original surgery before revision to allow full healing and swelling resolution. Choose a surgeon who specializes in revision rhinoplasty—look for someone who performs at least 50+ revision cases per year. Results can be excellent, but set realistic expectations during your consultation.
