Mommy makeover recovery is the most intensive of common cosmetic procedures because you're healing from multiple surgeries. Realistic timeline: Week 1: Full-time help required. No lifting (including children), no driving, limited mobility. You'll feel exhausted. Weeks 2-3: Still need significant help. Can do light tasks but tire easily. No lifting over 5-10 lbs. Weeks 4-6: Gradually increasing independence. Light daily activities okay. May return to desk work. Weeks 6-8: Resume most normal activities. Begin light exercise. Week 8+: Full recovery. Resume all activities including exercise. MINIMUM: Plan for 2-3 weeks of full-time childcare help, ideally 4 weeks for a more comfortable recovery.
