What people ask about brow lift cost

15 questions, from ASPS’s average to posted prices by approach, Utah, insurance for a brow that blocks your vision, financing and two quotes side by side. Each answer names its source and ends with a question for your consult.

  1. How much does a brow lift cost?ASPS’s cost page puts the average brow lift (forehead lift) at $5,460, the figure its 2023 statistics report gives for 2023, and says that leaves out anesthesia, the operating room and other costs.

  8. Why do brow lift prices vary so much from one practice to another?A brow lift price moves with the approach, where it’s done, the anesthesia and what the number counts, so two prices for a “brow lift” can describe different operations.
  9. @chari_2point0 on what each part of her surgery costWhat does a brow lift cost in Utah?University of Utah Health lists a brow lift at $5,175 to $8,125 as an estimate, Mobley MD in Salt Lake City says the total for the surgeon, facility and anesthesia begins at around $7,000, and Peak Plastic Surgery in Draper gives $5,500 to $9,000 in general wording.
  10. @nyfacemd on insurance for a brow lift or eyelid liftDoes insurance cover a brow lift?Insurance can pay for a functional brow lift, one that repairs a brow drooping enough to block your vision, when it meets your plan’s own criteria, and a brow lift done for looks is cosmetic.

  15. What should I ask about price at a brow lift consultation?Ask for a written brow lift quote that names the approach, says whether the price is the surgeon’s fee or a total, and lists the facility, anesthesia, devices, visits and how long the price holds.

The national numbers

How much does a brow lift cost?

ASPS’s cost page puts the average brow lift (forehead lift) at $5,460, the figure its 2023 statistics report gives for 2023, and says that leaves out anesthesia, the operating room and other costs. ASPS’s 2024 report gives a projected range of $4,000 to $7,500 for its member surgeons’ fees, the Aesthetic Society says $3,514 from 2022 data, and CareCredit, a lender, says $4,834 from a 2026 study. They don’t measure the same thing. We show 202 brow lift prices from 151 practice websites in 43 metro areas, checked October 12, 2026, one by one.

Five national numbers, and what each one counts

ASPS’s cost page · $5,460

The page prints no year, and ASPS’s 2023 report gives the same figure for 2023. The page calls it only part of the total, with anesthesia, the operating room and other costs left out.

ASPS’s 2024 report · $4,000 to $7,500

A projected range of member surgeons’ fees for 2024, from a questionnaire ASPS extrapolated, rather than one price.

The Aesthetic Society · $3,514

From its 2022 national databank. It calls the figure surgeon and facility fees that may not include anesthesia, tests, prescriptions or garments.

CareCredit, a lender · $4,834

From its 2026 study, in an article dated July 10, 2026, and it usually leaves out the facility, anesthesia, medications, tests and consultations. Its range counts Botox among brow lift options, so we don’t show it, and its facelift article’s brow row reads $3,264 to $8,067, a different table.

AAFPRS · $3,000 to $10,000

The facial plastic surgeons’ academy gives no year, and says the cost varies with anesthesia and facility fees without saying whether its range includes them.

Different years and different definitions, so none of them is the right one and averaging them would mean nothing.

ASPS’s own fee figures, report by report

2019 report · $3,490

ASPS’s national average physician fee for 2019, leaving out anesthesia and the operating room, read from a copy on a practice site. Its 2022 report later restated 2019 as $3,815.

2020 report · $3,900

The same measure and the same footnote, for 2020.

2022 report · $4,282

Fees that don’t include anesthesia, operating room facilities or other related expenses.

2023 report · $5,460

For procedures by ASPS members, and the source of the cost page’s figure. ASPS doesn’t present it as what a patient pays all-in.

2024 report · $4,000 to $7,500

A projected range of member surgeons’ fees, not an average.

ASPS revises its past years, so read each figure with its report and not as one trend. The 2022 to 2024 reports were read from archived copies, because the live ASPS links no longer open.

The dots mix surgeon’s fees and totals, so read them as a spread and never as a target.

ASPS revises its own past years, so each figure goes with its report. Its 2019 report gave $3,490, its 2020 report $3,900 and its 2022 report $4,282, and those reports say the fee leaves out anesthesia and operating room costs. The 2024 report switched to a range, and the 2025 report counts 15,506 forehead lifts by plastic surgeons and gives no fee. The Aesthetic Society calls its figure surgeon and facility fees that may not include anesthesia. CareCredit says its averages usually leave out the facility, anesthesia, medications, tests and consultations. AAFPRS gives $3,000 to $10,000 with no year and no word on what it includes.

How much does an endoscopic brow lift cost?

Among the 20 endoscopic brow lift prices practices quote as their own, the lowest is $3,800 to $4,500 (Albert Cytryn MD, Bethesda, MD; doesn’t say what it covers) and the highest is $25,000 (Facial Artistry, New York, NY; doesn’t say what it covers). The 11 that say they’re a total with the surgeon, facility and anesthesia run from $5,800 at Ricardo L. Rodriguez MD in Timonium, MD to $11,000 to $15,000 at Mentz Aesthetic Plastic Surgery in Houston, TX. None is averaged.

21 prices on 21 practice websites, checked October 12, 2026. Tap a practice to open its page. A group longer than six opens with six spread from low to high. A bar is a range, a dot with a tail is a starting price and a lone dot is one figure, and the chips say what the page says the price covers. A page that describes its city’s range sits under its own heading, because it isn’t a fee the practice quotes. Each is a practice’s own advertisement, read from its price page, and none is averaged or mixed with another approach.

Of those 20, 11 say it’s a total with the surgeon, facility and anesthesia, 1 says it’s the surgeon’s fee alone and 8 don’t say, and 6 are starting prices, which are floors. One more page describes the range in its city and sits under its own heading. Mayo Clinic says an endoscopic lift uses small cuts behind the hairline and a thin lighted camera, and anchors the forehead with stitches, small screws or another technique. Those anchors can be priced apart. Okland Facial Plastic Surgery in Denver says its all-in price includes both Endotine fixation devices, while Jose Barrera MD in San Antonio lists the device on its own line, when it’s needed.

Ask the practice

“Does this endoscopic price include the fixation devices, the facility and anesthesia, or are they billed on their own?”

How much does a temporal brow lift cost?

Among the 15 temporal or lateral brow lift prices practices quote as their own, the lowest is a starting price of $3,000 (Shermak Plastic Surgery, Baltimore, MD; an in-office total under local anesthesia) and the highest is a starting price of $12,000 (Flora Levin MD, Westport, CT; the surgeon’s fee only). Mayo Clinic says a temporal lift raises the outer brows through small cuts behind the hairline near the temples, and Johns Hopkins says it can be done under local anesthesia in the office, which is how the two lowest-priced ones here are done.

A bar is a range, a dot with a tail is a starting price and a lone dot is one figure, and the chips say what the page says the price covers. In-office prices under local anesthesia say so under the practice’s name. Each is a practice’s own advertisement, read from its price page, and none is averaged or mixed with another approach.

Of those 15, 4 say it’s a total with the surgeon, facility and anesthesia, 1 is an in-office total under local anesthesia, 5 say it’s the surgeon’s fee alone and 5 don’t say, and 7 are starting prices. A surgeon’s fee and an all-in total sit side by side on this chart, so read the chips under each before you compare two. DiBello Plastic Surgery near Philadelphia shows the gap inside one practice, about $3,500 for a lateral lift in its office and about $8,000 all-in for an endoscopic lift in a hospital.

Ask the practice

“Will you do my temporal lift in the office under local anesthesia or in an operating room, and what does each setting cost?”

How much do coronal, hairline and direct brow lifts cost?

Practices price coronal, hairline and direct brow lifts far less often than endoscopic ones, with 5 coronal, 1 hairline and 2 direct prices of their own against 20 endoscopic. Among the coronal prices, the lowest is $5,250 (Suncoast Plastic Surgery, Pearland, TX; a total with surgeon, facility and anesthesia) and the highest is a starting price of $9,000 (Dr. Berman, Boca Raton, FL; the surgeon’s fee only). Minneapolis Plastic Surgery prices a hairline lift starting at $10,000, a total, and the direct lifts start at $5,000 (Burgess Plastic Surgery, doesn’t say what it covers) and $5,500 (Chicago Oculofacial Plastic Surgery, the surgeon’s fee only).

The last group gives one price for a hairline lift that may also lower the hairline, so it isn’t a plain brow lift price. Each is a practice’s own advertisement, read from its price page, and none is averaged or mixed with another approach.

Mayo Clinic describes the coronal lift as a cut across the top of the head that removes a strip of scalp, the hairline lift as a cut where the forehead meets the hairline that removes forehead skin and can lower a high hairline, and the direct lift as skin removed just above the brows, usually in people with bushy brows, with sedation and local anesthesia. Two practices give one price for a hairline lift that may also lower the hairline, John Bitner MD Facial Plastic Surgery at $6,500 to $9,000 (the surgeon’s fee only) and Diana Ponsky MD at $8,000 to $12,000 (a total with surgeon, facility and anesthesia). Three practices’ own price lists, checked October 12, 2026. A combined price is usually less than the parts added, so ask for the combined figure rather than adding two quotes.

Puget Plastic Surgery in Seattle lists starting prices of $3,800 for upper eyelids, $4,000 for a brow lift and $6,000 for both, $1,800 less than the two added. Patronella Plastic Surgery in Houston lists an endoscopic brow lift at $7,400 to $9,400 when it’s combined with another operation, against $8,800 to $10,800 on its own. Philip Young MD in Bellevue, Wash., says a brow lift adds $3,000 to $6,000 to a facelift. Cleveland Clinic lists a facelift, a neck lift and eyelid surgery among the operations that can be done at the same time as a brow lift.

Eisemann Plastic Surgery Center in Houston lists a brow lift at $2,800 and says to add $2,800 for anesthesia and the facility, more with propofol. Chicago Oculofacial Plastic Surgery lists facility fees of $950 in the office with local anesthesia and from $1,750 with sedation, and Dr. Berman in Boca Raton says facility and anesthesia add $1,500 to $5,000 depending on where it’s done. Mobley MD in Salt Lake City says its anesthesia and facility fees depend on how long the surgery takes.

Ask the practice

“Can you put each charge in writing, with the approach named and the date the price runs out?”

Your quote

Why do brow lift prices vary so much from one practice to another?

A brow lift price moves with the approach, where it’s done, the anesthesia and what the number counts, so two prices for a “brow lift” can describe different operations. Gartner Plastic Surgery in Paramus, N.J., lists the same brow lift at $6,500 to $7,500 under local anesthesia and $7,500 to $8,500 under general, both totals.

The same brow lift at one practice, in a different setting

Gartner Plastic Surgery, Paramus, N.J.Local anesthesia $6,500 to $7,500 → General anesthesia $7,500 to $8,500+$1,000
Seattle Plastic SurgeryLocal anesthesia, starting at $3,995 → General anesthesia, starting at $4,995+$1,000
DeLuca Plastic Surgery, Albany, N.Y.In the office, starting at $4,500 → Operating room, starting at $7,960+$3,460
Three practices that post both, checked October 12, 2026. The arrow runs from the lower price’s low end to the higher one’s, and each pair is the practice’s own list, so the operation is the same and the setting isn’t.

Seattle Plastic Surgery posts starting prices of $3,995 under local anesthesia and $4,995 under general, and DeLuca Plastic Surgery in Albany lists starting totals of $4,500 in the office and $7,960 in the operating room. A chain’s one price for every city isn’t a local price, and a combined operation can lower the brow lift’s share. Two of the highest are Sunder Plastic Surgery in Beverly Hills at $18,000 to $35,000 and Facial Artistry in Manhattan at about $25,000, and neither says what it covers.

Ask the practice

“What about my face would change the approach, the setting or the anesthesia you’ve priced, and what would that do to the total?”

What does a brow lift cost in Utah?

University of Utah Health lists a brow lift at $5,175 to $8,125 as an estimate, Mobley MD in Salt Lake City says the total for the surgeon, facility and anesthesia begins at around $7,000, and Peak Plastic Surgery in Draper gives $5,500 to $9,000 in general wording. John Bitner MD in Layton lists $6,500 to $9,000 as the surgeon’s fee alone, on a line that covers a brow lift and/or hairline advancement, so it isn’t a Utah range or an all-in price.

Who decides a functional brow lift in Utah

Noridian Healthcare Solutions, Medicare in Utah

LCD L34194 judges the field loss from clinical notes, the exam and photos rather than formal visual field tests. Noridian’s prior authorization page for hospital outpatient departments lists brow ptosis repair (CPT 67900), and Utah isn’t one of the ten states in Medicare’s surgery center demonstration. WPS’s national Part A contract also lists Utah, so it can’t be ruled out there.

Regence (Oregon, Utah, Idaho and select Washington counties)

Medical Policy Manual, Surgery Policy No. 12.05, effective August 1, 2026. Brow ptosis repair, open or endoscopic, may be medically necessary when at least one eye has a field of 20 degrees or less before taping that improves by at least 12 degrees with taping, and photos show the brow below the rim. It wants the repair done in one session.

Select Health (Utah commercial)

Medical Policy #567, read from an archived copy last revised August 8, 2023, so the current text isn’t confirmed. It asks for taped and untaped fields improving by 30% or 12 degrees, photos with the brow below the rim and a functional complaint. Its live Utah code list, as of September 23, 2026, marks brow ptosis repair as needing preauthorization and the forehead lift code 15824 as not covered.

Utah Medicaid

Criteria #19 never mentions brows. Select Health’s Utah Medicaid code list marks brow ptosis repair and 15824 not covered, and the state’s own fee-for-service status wasn’t confirmed.

Each policy covers its own members, read October 12, 2026. Policy text is not a coverage guarantee.

CareCredit’s 2026 study puts Utah’s average at $4,580, and like its national figure it leaves out the facility and anesthesia. Bitner’s page says its in-office facility fee averages $750 and sedation is billed apart, and it lists a facelift with a brow lift at $19,000, again the surgeon’s fee. One Utah patient’s video shows a brow lift line of $6,000 inside a deep plane face and neck lift in March 2026, with $20,000 for the face and neck and $5,300 for the hospital, and she says prices depend on the patient. Noridian is Utah’s Medicare contractor, and Regence and Select Health publish their own brow criteria.

Ask the practice

“Is your Utah price the surgeon’s fee or a total, and what would the facility and anesthesia add?”

Coverage

Does insurance cover a brow lift?

Insurance can pay for a functional brow lift, one that repairs a brow drooping enough to block your vision, when it meets your plan’s own criteria, and a brow lift done for looks is cosmetic. ASPS says most health insurance plans don’t cover brow lift surgery or its complications, and AAFPRS says surgery for sagging brows that interfere with vision may be covered in whole or in part. Policy text is not a coverage guarantee.

Medicare’s brow rules, contractor by contractor

Noridian Healthcare Solutions · LCD L34194

For California, Nevada, Hawaii, Alaska, Arizona, Idaho, Montana, North Dakota, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Washington and Wyoming, plus American Samoa, Guam and the Northern Mariana Islands. A brow repair counts as functional when the brow or lid leaves a field of about 30 degrees or less from fixation, which the policy ties to a margin reflex distance of 2.0 mm or less, or when tissue clearly blocks the line of sight. It relies on clinical notes and findings rather than formal visual field tests, though an appeal can bring exceptions, and it requires a front photo of the drooping brow. If a brow repair alone would fix the eyelid skin, adding upper eyelid surgery is cosmetic. Revised October 16, 2025.

Palmetto GBA · LCD L34411

For Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia and West Virginia. Brow ptosis may cause or add to a loss of the visual field, and a brow repair may be needed instead of, or as well as, upper eyelid surgery. The signs are alternatives, a pseudo-MRD of 2.0 mm or less, tissue blocking the line of sight, or at least 12 degrees between the resting field and the field with the lid lifted. Visual field testing isn’t required, and color photos are. Revised May 20, 2021.

Wisconsin Physicians Service (WPS) · LCD L34528

For Iowa, Kansas, Missouri and Nebraska (J5); Indiana and Michigan (J8). Visual fields with the brow raised must show a difference of 12 degrees or more, or 30%, read by a physician from Goldmann or standardized automated testing, and the listed findings include an MRD of 2.5 mm or less. The photo section came out of the policy in 2021. Revised January 1, 2026.

CGS Administrators · LCD L33944

For Kentucky and Ohio. Treats brow ptosis as a cause of impaired vision and requires visual fields showing at least a 12-degree or 30 percent loss of the upper field, with the lid at rest and taped. Photos may be used but aren’t required. Revised November 6, 2025.

First Coast Service Options · LCD L34028

For Florida, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Covers brow procedures when brow ptosis pushes the upper lid down to an MRD1 of 2 mm or less, or when a field test shows a 12 to 15 degree loss, or 24% to 30%, at the top. A field test is one route, not a requirement, and photos are needed when the record alone isn’t enough. Surgery for appearance only isn’t covered. Revised March 21, 2021.

Novitas Solutions · LCD L35004

For Arkansas, Colorado, Louisiana, Mississippi, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas (J-H); Delaware, the District of Columbia, Maryland, New Jersey and Pennsylvania (J-L): eleven states plus D.C.. Uses the same brow text as First Coast, an MRD1 of 2 mm or less with brow ptosis or a 12 to 15 degree, or 24% to 30%, loss at the top of the field, as alternatives. Surgery for appearance only isn’t covered. Revised March 21, 2021.

Wellpoint Federal · article A52837

For Illinois, Minnesota and Wisconsin (J-06); Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, Rhode Island and Vermont (J-K). A policy article, not a local coverage determination. A brow repair may be needed with eyelid surgery for a working result. Visual fields must show at least a 12-degree or 30% loss of the upper field, untaped against taped, and photos must show the brows below the bony rim above the eye, the lid improving when the brows are raised and the lid margin within 2.5 mm of the light reflex. The contractor was National Government Services until April 1, 2026. Revised April 1, 2026.

Four national insurers, each with its own policy

Aetna, commercial plans

Clinical Policy Bulletin 0084, last reviewed March 3, 2026. Covers brow ptosis repair for impaired vision when photos from the past 12 months show the brow below the bony rim above the eye and visual fields from the past 12 months show 30 degrees or less before taping, improving by 12 degrees or 30% with taping, plus a documented complaint. Aetna says a field test alone isn’t enough, because the lids can be lowered during it. Plan documents govern.

Cigna, standard plans

Medical Coverage Policy 0045, effective June 15, 2026. Covers a brow lift only with complaints of visual interference, an upper field loss of at least 20 degrees or 30% that brow taping corrects by at least as much, a loss eyelid surgery or ptosis repair alone can’t fix, and photos with the brows below the rim. Coverage varies across plans, and the plan document comes first.

UnitedHealthcare, commercial and Individual Exchange plans

Medical Policy MP.002.29, effective August 1, 2026. Calls brow ptosis repair reconstructive and medically necessary in certain circumstances under InterQual criteria it doesn’t print, so it publishes no field or MRD number. It calls internal browpexy cosmetic for any condition, and its cosmetic policy lists the forehead lift code 15824 as cosmetic.

Anthem, commercial plans

Clinical UM Guideline CG-SURG-03, published January 6, 2026. Calls a brow lift usually cosmetic, and medically necessary when brow ptosis causes a documented loss of the upper or outer field, such as trouble reading or seeing lid skin, with photos showing the brow below the rim. The brow section gives no degree threshold, and each plan may choose whether to adopt the guideline.

Each applies to its own plans, read October 12, 2026, and your plan documents decide. Medicare Advantage plans may apply their own rules, and UnitedHealthcare’s Medicare Advantage policy has no brow section. We didn’t read the text of Humana’s Medicare Advantage policy.

The numbers measure different things

The field that’s left

Noridian looks for about 30 degrees or less from fixation, Aetna 30 degrees or less before taping, Regence 20 degrees or less and Blue Cross NC within 30 degrees. A smaller number means more loss.

The size of the loss

Cigna asks for at least 20 degrees or 30%, CGS and Wellpoint Federal at least 12 degrees or 30%, and First Coast and Novitas 12 to 15 degrees or 24% to 30% as one route.

The gain when the brow or lid is lifted

WPS asks for 12 degrees or 30% with the brow raised, Aetna 12 degrees or 30%, Regence at least 12 degrees and Blue Cross NC at least 15 degrees.

A lid-margin distance (MRD)

A pseudo-MRD of 2.0 mm or less at Palmetto and Noridian, 2.5 mm or less as a listed finding at WPS, and an MRD1 of 2 mm or less with brow ptosis at First Coast and Novitas.

No numbers at all

UnitedHealthcare’s commercial policy and Anthem’s brow section publish none.

Visual fields aren’t always required

Noridian doesn’t rely on them, Palmetto doesn’t require them and First Coast and Novitas treat them as one route. WPS, CGS, Wellpoint Federal, Aetna, Cigna, Regence and Blue Cross NC require them.

What the IRS and a federal FSA say about paying for it

  1. A brow lift to change how you lookGenerally noIRS Publication 502 says cosmetic surgery generally isn’t deductible and names face lifts as an example. A brow lift is not named. Publication 969, not 502, ties HSA qualified expenses to section 213(d) medical care.
  2. Surgery to correct a deformity from a birth abnormality, an injury or a disfiguring diseaseAskPublication 502 makes an exception for those, and it doesn’t say where a brow drooping onto your vision falls. Your records and a tax professional decide.
  3. Paying from a federal employee FSALetter neededFSAFEDS says cosmetic procedures aren’t eligible, and those for birth defects, accidents or disease are, with a letter of medical necessity from your doctor and a detailed receipt.
General information, not tax advice. Neither page names a brow lift, so ask your plan and a tax professional about your own case.

Medicare’s rules are set by region. Noridian, the Medicare contractor for Utah and 12 other western states, judges the field loss from clinical notes and photos and doesn’t rely on formal visual field tests, while WPS, the contractor for Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Indiana and Michigan, requires visual fields with the brow raised. Aetna, Cigna, UnitedHealthcare and Anthem each publish their own policy, and UnitedHealthcare’s points to criteria it doesn’t print. Original Medicare has required prior authorization for blepharoplasty-category services in hospital outpatient departments since July 1, 2020. One New Jersey patient says her vision was tested and her plan approved both her upper eyelid surgery and her brow lift, which is one plan’s decision.

Ask the practice

“If my brow blocks my vision, will you document it the way my plan asks and send it for approval before we book?”

What the FDA documents say about each

Botox and other toxins

BOTOX Cosmetic’s label lists frown lines, crow’s feet, forehead lines and neck bands. Lifting the brows isn’t one of them, and brow drooping is among its listed side effects for forehead lines.

PDO thread lifts

The two PDO suture clearances the research read, from 2021 and 2024, say the sutures aren’t intended for lifting and supporting tissue.

Ultherapy (micro-focused ultrasound)

FDA-cleared, not approved, with “lift the eyebrow” among its listed uses. Two small studies without comparison groups measured about 1.7 mm and 2.16 mm of brow lift at 90 days.

Thermage FLX (radiofrequency)

FDA-cleared for wrinkles, including around the eyes and on the eyelids. Eyebrow lifting isn’t among its listed uses.

Raising the brows isn’t one of BOTOX Cosmetic’s FDA-labelled uses, its label gives about 3 to 4 months for frown lines, and Cleveland Clinic says a Botox brow lift needs repeating several times a year. ASPS’s 2023 report puts the average neuromodulator fee at $435 for any area, not the brow alone. The two PDO thread clearances the research read say those sutures aren’t meant for lifting and supporting tissue. Ultherapy is FDA-cleared to lift the eyebrow, and two small studies measured about 1.7 mm in 35 people and 2.16 mm in 40 people, each at 90 days.

Ask the practice

“Which of these would you suggest for my brows, and how long would its effect last before I paid again?”

What does financing a brow lift cost?

Financing $7,000 of a brow lift costs about $256 a month and $2,225 in interest over 36 months at 18.90%, the reduced rate CareCredit and Alphaeon Credit post for that term, or about $189 a month and $4,339 in interest over 60 months at 20.90%. That’s the financing guide’s worked example, an $8,000 all-in endoscopic brow lift at DiBello Plastic Surgery near Philadelphia less a $1,000 deposit. A deferred-interest promotion charges interest back to the purchase date if the balance isn’t paid in full in time.

CareCredit card

A 32.99% purchase APR and a 39.99% penalty APR, with interest charged daily and compounded. The minimum payment is the greatest of $30, 3.25% of the balance, or 1% plus interest and fees.

CareCredit promotions of 6 to 24 months

Deferred interest. Interest builds from the purchase date and is charged on the whole promotion if it isn’t paid in full by the end, and minimum payments may not clear it in time.

CareCredit and Alphaeon reduced-rate plans

17.90% for 24 months, 18.90% for 36, 19.90% for 48 and 20.90% for 60, with interest from the purchase date and a fixed monthly payment.

Alphaeon Credit

A 32.99% purchase APR. Its deferred-interest plans of 6 to 36 months charge interest from the purchase date if the plan balance isn’t paid in full, and a 36-month waived-interest plan splits the purchase into equal payments.

Cherry

Cherry posts 0% to 35.99% APR on terms of 1 to 60 months, for $35 to $65,000. True 0% is for qualified borrowers, and Cherry says it doesn’t use deferred interest. Its waived-interest promotion at select practices credits the interest back only if the loan is paid off early and every payment is on time.

A practice’s monthly figure

Basu Aesthetics + Plastic Surgery in Houston says a brow lift starts as low as $143 a month, or $7,250. The page gives no rate or term, so the payment can’t be checked and isn’t typical.

Rechecked October 12, 2026. A plan that says purchases “may be eligible” isn’t open to everyone.

CareCredit’s promotional plans of 6 to 24 months are deferred interest, so interest builds from the purchase date at its 32.99% purchase APR and is charged on the whole promotion if you don’t clear it by the end, and the card agreement charges that interest daily and compounds it. Clearing $7,000 in a 12-month promotion takes $583.33 a month, and the minimum payment may not get you there. Cherry posts 0% to 35.99% APR on terms of 1 to 60 months, with its 0% for qualified borrowers, and says it doesn’t use deferred interest, so at its top rate the same 36 months cost about $321 a month and $4,541 in interest. One patient put $3,435 of her endoscopic brow lift on a 12-month CareCredit promotion, about $286.25 a month, which is a deferred-interest plan.

Ask the practice

“Is the plan you offer deferred interest or a fixed rate, and what would I repay in total if I missed the deadline?”

What costs come on top of a brow lift price?

A brow lift price can leave out the consultation, a deposit, tests, prescriptions, supplies and time off, and ASPS lists medical tests, prescriptions and garments beside the surgeon’s fee, anesthesia and the facility. Gartner Plastic Surgery charges a $200 consultation scheduling fee that comes off the surgery, John J.W. Lee MD charges $100 that isn’t refunded, and Gregory Lewen MD lists $650 for a revision consultation.

Consultation and deposit

Gartner Plastic Surgery charges $200 to book a consultation and takes it off the surgery, Burgess Plastic Surgery asks a $200 consultation deposit, and Goals Plastic Surgery holds a surgery date with $500.

Tests, prescriptions and supplies

ASPS lists medical tests, prescriptions and garments beside the surgeon’s fee, and Mayo Clinic says you’ll need blood tests. Some practice prices leave out pre-op labs.

Time off work

ASPS says 10 to 14 days before work and normal activity, and the Aesthetic Society says likely after a week. Your surgeon sets your own dates.

1 to 2 weeks
A driver and someone with you

ASPS says you need someone to drive you home and stay with you the first night.

A night away

One patient’s own tally for an endoscopic brow lift included a hotel night at about $175.

A touch-up or revision

We found no posted price for touching up your own brow lift. Hetal Fichadia MD includes complication insurance in its estimates, and Gregory Lewen MD charges $650 for a revision consultation.

Goals Plastic Surgery asks a $500 deposit to hold a surgery date. St. George Surgical in Utah says its self-pay package values the first visit at $375 and one follow-up at $175, and leaves out lab and EKG testing. Patronella Plastic Surgery says its fee leaves out pre-op labs, pathology and an overnight stay. Time counts too, since ASPS says to be ready for work and normal activity after 10 to 14 days and the Aesthetic Society says you’ll likely be back at work after a week, and ASPS says you need someone to drive you home and stay the first night. We found no posted price for a touch-up of your own brow lift.

Ask the practice

“If I need a touch-up or a revision, who pays for the surgeon, the facility and anesthesia?”

Before you book

What should I ask about price at a brow lift consultation?

Ask for a written brow lift quote that names the approach, says whether the price is the surgeon’s fee or a total, and lists the facility, anesthesia, devices, visits and how long the price holds. ASPS says the consultation covers your goals, your medical history and medications, an exam with measurements and photos, and the surgeon’s recommendation, and Mayo Clinic says you’ll need blood tests.

Carson Williams MD and Judge MD say their quotes hold for 90 days, and JEV Plastic Surgery says up to six months, so a quote from the spring may not hold in the fall. Judge MD says it doesn’t bill insurance, and Weber Facial Plastic Surgery says it doesn’t contract with insurers but can supply the codes and paperwork for a functional case. Hetal Fichadia MD in Portland says its estimates include complication insurance through CosmetAssure. One patient filmed herself right after her consultation for an endoscopic brow lift, talking through the surgical center, a night in a hotel and how she planned to pay.

Ask the practice

“How long does this quote hold, and what would make the final bill differ from it?”

How we researched this guide

We started with the national numbers, the Medicare and insurer policies and the lenders’ own terms, then re-opened every practice page that posts a brow lift price and watched what people said they paid.

National numbers and policies

We left out 9 more rows, those whose figure can’t stand for a brow lift’s cost (a browpexy priced only with eyelid surgery, a package floor tied to eyelid surgery, the two lowest outliers, a chain’s direct-lift rate and two city ranges), one likely page typo and a facelift package. The prices are practices’ own advertisements, read from their price pages, and nothing here says which surgeon holds which board.

The videos

Three TikTok creators who showed what their brow lift cost, two videos about insurance for a brow lift that blocks vision and one filmed on a consultation day, chosen from the 39 we kept after vetting for our brow lift research. Each is credited and linked to where it was posted, and a creator’s total that doesn’t match her own line items is left out.

A posted price can change, and none is a quote. Each video is credited to its creator and links to where it was posted.
